If you’re still confused, RSS (aka Really Simple Syndication) is an easy way to get the latest content from your favorite sites. If your finger’s sore from hitting the refresh button, keep reading. What you learn might just save your life (well, maybe).

Okay, I’ll bite, what do I have to do?

First, sign up for Google Reader. You need a Google account, but, really, if you don’t have one already you should sign up. Seriously.

Then make sure you’re signed in, and use this handy button: Add to Google

I’m still confused. What did I just get myself into?

The Google magically knows when we put up new content, and pushes the most recent stuff to Reader. Assuming you did like we just told you, you should already be getting the latest from 511 Contra Costa. But if you read other blogs, you can add them too:

Everything in one place. No need to refresh, no need to hunt for what you’re looking for, the onset of carpal tunnel staved off for another few years . . . it’s all there. Simple, yeah?
