Take Transit, Get Free Tickets

Eligible participants will receive about a week’s worth or more of rides. BART tickets start at $64. Train tickets are even higher!

Am I eligible to apply?

You are eligible to be a participant if you:
• Travel to, from, or through Contra Costa County.
• Are over 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Own or have access to a vehicle (includes carsharing vehicles such as City Carshare and ZipCar).
• Agree to complete a follow-up survey to determine the effectiveness of this program.
• Are currently employed OR attending classes at a college, university, technical or trade school.

What are the program rules?

• Limit to one transit incentive per person and up to two per household per year. Some exceptions are permitted.
• Participants in the program are not eligible for the 511 Contra Costa Carpool Program. Some exceptions are permitted.
• Transit tickets must coincide with your commute.
• Please be advised that we may contact your employer to verify employment or review class schedules to verify enrollment.
• Falsifying any information will disqualify you from ALL 511 Contra Costa programs and promotions.
• Transit tickets ARE NOT FOR RESALE.
• 511 Contra Costa reserves the right to make any changes or to terminate this program at any time.

Please allow time for processing. Please note that monthly train ticket requests require up to seven business days extra processing time.
