511 Contra Costa has sponsored a countywide effort to convert public vehicle fleets from gas or diesel to clean fuel (CNG or electric). The program provided partial funding for the costs of fueling infrastructure CNG powered fleet vehicles. The cities of Pinole, San Ramon, Walnut Creek and Contra Costa County have installed on-site CNG fueling stations. For a list of fueling station locations visit www.cleancarmaps.com.
